Final Fantasy Trading Card Game Expanded Through Opus XIII: Crystal Radiance Booster Set

Are you an active collector and player of the Final Fantasy trading card game (FFTCG)? Square Enix has today commenced sales in North America of the TCG’s newest booster set named Opus XIII: Crystal Radiance, with other regions to surely closely follow.

According to Square Enix:

Players can look forward to the inclusion of even more Multi-Element Forwards, after their introduction in Opus XII: Crystal Awakening, and use their powerful new abilities to gain further momentum against their opponents. Opus XIII also includes three new Legacy cards, as well as the first cards hailing from LIGHTNING RETURNS: FINAL FANTASY XIII, the third release in the FINAL FANTASY XIII series.

The newest set of cards in the Opus XIII: Crystal Radiance booster packs feature artwork from a range of Final Fantasy artists. This includes Gen Kobayashi, Yasuhisa Izumisawa, Ryomi Ito, Akira Oguro, Toshitaka Matsuda and Miki Yamashita; who between them have worked on games including Final Fantasy Explorers, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as King, Final Fantasy III and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.
