World’s End Club Heads to Switch in May 2021

The “Go-Getters Club,” a group of misfit students from all over Japan, find themselves trapped in a strange theme park during a class trip. In order to unravel the mystery of their circumstances and find an escape, they must take part in a “Game of Fate” that will test their bonds of friendship!

IzanagiGames and Nippon Ichi Software America has confirmed the visual novel / platformer game World’s End Club will be headed exclusively to the Nintendo Switch on 28 May 2021. Created by the minds of Kotaro Uchikoshi and Kazutaka Kodaka, World’s End Club is designed to be less dark than the duos previous works such as the Zero Escape series, and seeks to offer “a lighter and more hopeful tale that anyone can pick up”.

World End’s Club follows the “Go-Getters Club”, an elementary school group in Tokyo made up from oddball kids from all over Japan. Reycho and the other members are somehow different than the other kids around them. Then, one day, during the summer… While on the bus for their class trip, they get into an accident.

When they wake up, they’re in a theme park under the sea. Reycho and the others are trapped inside this strange, long-abandoned place. Suddenly, from out of nowhere, a mysterious clown appears and orders them to play a “Fate Game”! Before any of them can figure out what’s happening, they’re fighting for their very lives.
Will they be able to survive and make it out of this weird place?

The kids are all lost and confused… But then, extraordinary powers begin to awaken within them. While at the same time… Abnormal events are occurring all over the Earth.
