While information on this new project is limited; LucasFilm Games together with MachineGames and Bethesda earlier today confirmed that development is underway on a new video game based around the iconic Indiana Jones film franchise. This will feature an original storyline, and would be the first time a chapter has been released in the franchise since Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in 2008.
In social media posts teasing this announcement, it was confirmed that the game would be executive produced by Todd Howard. There is no word on a planned genre (My best guesses would be action-adventure or open-world adventure), planned platforms for release or whether it has any links to the upcoming fifth film expected for release in 2022.
