Explosive Pyrotechnical Loli Klee The Featured Character of Genshin Impact’s Next Wish Event – ‘Sparkling Steps’

While a good portion of the content in Genshin Impact can be done solo, with hopefully more community driven content to be fleshed out in the future, the game still runs off a freemium model. While none of the actual gameplay content at this time is locked behind a paywall (and hopefully never will be), unlocking new characters to play as requires the use of a gacha system and premium currency. You can do standard gacha pulls for the chance of weapons or characters, but occasionally developer MiHoYo will be rolling out “Wish Events”, giving players a higher chance to pull a selection of 4-star characters and a specific 5-star character.

Following the first wish event which concluded today, MiHoYo has confirmed that the second “Wish Event” for Genshin Impact will feature the pyrotechnic child Klee as its five-star, with 4-star characters Khloe, Xingqiu and Sucrose receiving increased drop rates. For those who have not yet unlocked the fire powerhouse Diluc or just want a cute loli character to join their team, you may want to throw some of your free or paid Primogems into possibly getting her.

The ‘Sparkling Steps’ event will commence on 20 October 2020 at 6.00pm Server Time. It is expected to run for at least a couple of weeks.
