Just a quick notification for my Australian readers, following this morning’s PlayStation 5 showcase. Launch shipment PlayStation 5 consoles are now available to pre-order via the EB Games Australia website – with both standard and digital editions versions available for $749.95 AUD and $599.95 AUD respectively. Regardless of the console you pre-order, a $200 deposit is required.
As per the release date schedule shared by Sony Interactive Entertainment earlier today, Australians will be some of the first in the world to receive the console on Thursday 12 November 2020.
Be sure to place your order as soon as practical. It could be a similar situation to the PlayStation 4, where consoles were near impossible to come by months post-launch. Also keep in mind that consoles are strictly one per customer.
