The Episode Chart Will Help Track Your Journey to Salvation or Ruin in Death end re;Quest 2

-

A few weeks out from launching Compile Heart’s RPG Death end re;Quest 2 on the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC platforms. Idea Factory International has shared information about the game’s Episode Chart. Your adventure will take place across day and night cycles, with both providing story elements which will impact the lives of those living at Wordsworth – either to an early death or perhaps surviving an otherwise inevitable encounter.

To help you keep track of things, you will receive an Episode Chart to chronicle the different routes and endings you take. In the Episode Chart, players can view descriptions of each previously played event, along with a timestamp for each Death End found. You can regularly check the episode chart to claim items granted for following different episode paths. While this is a tool to log your progress, jumping backwards in time without starting a new game is impossible.

Players are therefore encouraged to quick save before making decisions to give yourself the chance to explore all possible paths. After each Game Over, players can return to the moment just prior to selecting. Each previously-made selection is checked off, keeping track of all explored paths.

Developed by Compile Heart as a collaboration between Corpse Party series scenario writer Makoto Kedouin and Death end re;quest character designer Kei Nanameda, Death end re;Quest 2 will be released on the PC on 18 August 2020 and on the PlayStation 4 from 25 August 2020 (28 August 2020 in some territories).
