Moonfire Faire Seasonal Event to Commence in Final Fantasy XIV Next Month

If Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.3: Reflections in Crystal going live on 11 August 2020 wasn’t exciting enough for you, maybe the return of an Eorzean summer staple will be the perfect icing on the cake. From 12 August 2020 until 26 August 2020, fireworks will continually be going off at Costa del Sol, with the Moonfire Faire taking place once more.

While you should expect many of the same staples such as jumping puzzles and many photo opportunities – the Summer Shark Blowout! questline promises to offer a range of new event apparel, emotes and items for those who complete it. A preview of the new content can be found below:

The main quest for the 2020 Moonfire Faire will be titled ‘A Fish Too Far’, and can be commenced by speaking to Mayaru Moyaru at Limsa Lominsa, Upper Decks (x:11.5, y:13.8) once the event begins. The only requirement is that players are Level 30 or higher.

and don’t forget, once you and your friends obtain the new attire, you should all come together and take a group photo!
