Final Fantasy XI Marks 18th Anniversary with In-Game Event

Plus Other Updates

While more attention is on the other Final Fantasy online game (Final Fantasy XIV Online), eighteen years on and the development team at Square Enix are still churning out updates for Final Fantasy XI on the PC. Marking this new milestone in the game’s lifecycle, it has been announced that an anniversary event will be running until 29 June 2020.

Titled ‘Mandragora Mania’, players will be able to receive various awards by completing event content and collecting a unique currency. Additionally, all players can receive a Vana’versary mandragora shirt by speaking with one of the event Moogle NPCs in San d’Oria, Bastok, or Windurst. If you have considered returning to the world of Vana’ diel and been looking for an opportunity to do so, now may be your best opportunity.
