Final Fantasy XIV Starter Edition Free on PlayStation 4

Download it for free, and get 30 days for free!

Have you not yet visited the realm of Eorzea? Do you have a trial account and just been on the fence about picking up a copy of the game? If you answered yes to either of those questions and don’t have an issue playing an online game on the PlayStation 4; Square Enix are offering Final Fantasy XIV Online: Starter Edition for free digitally via the PlayStation Store.

Available until 26 May 2020, this offer includes the full base game (A Realm Reborn) and 30 days of free playtime. If you download during this period, you will keep the base game associated with your MogStation account, meaning that you won’t need to buy it again should you wish to continue your journey immediately after your free subscription ends or at a later date.

Final Fantasy XIV Starter Edition Free on PlayStation 4 1

To take advantage of this offer, visit the PlayStation Store of your respective region via your PlayStation 4 or PC. Search for Final Fantasy XIV and purchase the free “FINAL FANTASY® XIV Online Starter Edition”. Do keep in mind that by upgrading your trial account with this offer, you will no longer be eligible for the Free Trial on that account, and be unable to play without an active subscription.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn was first released in 2013, serving as a complete remake of the game’s original 2010 release in response to initial negative reception. The base game gives players access to all content up to Character Level 50, in addition to a comprehensive range of other activities accessible to all active subscribers. Every two years, Square Enix has released an expansion pack which includes brand new storyline additions, new maps, new dungeons, trials and endgame content. The most recent of these expansions, Shadowbringers, released in mid-2019 and must be purchased separately from the Starter Edition (But includes the other expansions Heavensward and Stormblood).
