PlayStation Australia Launches #PSPlusPlays Skill Challenge Program

PlayStation Australia is no stranger to initiatives to get players of their consoles completing impressive feats as quickly as possible. One former initiative was a series of PlayStation Plus Platinum Hunters Challenges, where players could earn themselves a physical Premium Trophy for being the first in the region to obtain all in-game trophies in a specified game. For 2020, they have determined their skill challenge initiative will be titled #PSPlusPlays.

How will this work? Each month, PlayStation Australia will set an online, in-game challenge for players to take on. Players must load up the featured title of the month, capture their attempt, and share it on Twitter with the hashtag #PSPlusPlays. The winners will obtain (currently unconfirmed) money-can’t-buy prizes. Furthermore, every time participants enter each monthly challenge, they will be in the running to win the grand prize, an ultimate PAX AUS 2020 weekend for them and their friends.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be the game of January 2020, with the round to begin on 13 January. The February 2020 game is confirmed as EA Sports FIFA 2020 and March 2020’s game is Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege.
