Months after their late-October 2019 release of Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers Patch 5.1 – Vows of Virtue, Deeds of Cruelty on all supported platforms, Square Enix have released their teaser website for Patch 5.2. Titled “Echoes of a Fallen Star“, this is the second main post-expansion patch for the MMORPG – which will be available to all players from the middle of next month.
While more specifics are due to be shared over the coming weeks, this patch will feature the following new additions and more:

- Eden’s Verse Raids
- Chronicles of a New Era – The Sorrow of Werlyt
- New Dungeon – Anamnesis Anyder
- Trial – Cinder Drift
- Beast Tribe Quests – Qitari
- Resistance Weapon Quests
- Ishgardian Restoration Updates
- Crafting and Gathering Overhaul
- Ocean Fishing
- New Game+ Updates
I am looking forward to the opportunity to dive into the second set of four Eden 8-player raids which time titled “Eden’s Verse”. More specifically, I eagerly await the savage versions which are associated with them. Four new challenging battles for me and my static members to tackle!
Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers is the third expansion pack to be released for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. It is currently available on the PC, Mac and PlayStation 4 platforms. While nothing is confirmed to date – there have been murmurs in recent months about potential future releases on the Xbox One or Nintendo Switch.
