From September 2016 to May 2018, video game publisher CFK Co. Ltd released English localised versions for four out of the five main instalments in GAINAX’s Princess Maker franchise. These PC releases were a long time coming, following an unsuccessful attempt to release Princess Maker 2 in English during the 90s (You can read about it HERE). Each of these games can be purchased on Steam, receiving mixed to positive feedback from purchasers.
More than a year after they last released something in the series, CFK have brought not one but two titles to Steam – Princess Maker ~Faery Tales Come True~ (an enhanced HD Remake of Princess Maker 3) and Princess Maker Go!Go! Princess which amalgamates the game’s fighting and life simulation mechanics with that of a board game. Priced $42.95 AUD and $14.50 AUD respectively, both titles can be purchased until early next month at a 10% discount via Steam for PC. Nintendo Switch editions can also be purchased via the Nintendo eShop – marking the first time the Princess Maker series has been offered on Nintendo consoles in English.
