New executions, murder mysteries and a whole new school await fans of the Danganronpa video game series today, with English publisher Nippon Ichi Software America beginning to release Spike Chunsoft’s murder-mystery game Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony onto the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

While only available in North America at this time, those in Europe will be able to join the 16 students of the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles from Friday, while those in Australia and New Zealand will have to wait until a little later next month.

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony is the next major instalment in the Danganronpa series – although features a completely new cast of Ultimate Students and is set to be a “brand-new beginning” from earlier works. Under the watchful eye of their bear-like Headmaster Monokuma, the students must survive in their mysterious high school, or alternatively, pull off a successful murder without being caught in order to successfully escape.

With new mysteries to solve, Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony features an updated Class Trial system providing new ways to work through the case, requiring you to uncover truths, use logic and sometimes lie about what had taken place. This is on-top of a brand new assortment of mini-games – both brand new and updated versions from past titles.
