When in attendance at E3 this year, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that an expansion for Horizon Zero Dawn is currently in development. Titled Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds, you will be able to nab yourself a copy of it on November 7th 2017 – exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
As its title implies, this expansion is set in the previously unexplored snowy regions to the North, presenting a new chapter in Aloy’s journey. This new area to explore contains new mysteries to uncover, lethal machines to take on and more gameplay opportunities. Developer Guerrilla Games plan to share more specifics about The Frozen Wilds in the lead-up to its launch.
Pre-orders for The Frozen Wilds are currently being taken digitally via the PlayStation Store. During this period, those who pre-order the expansion will gain access to an exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn Avatar. PlayStation Plus members will also receive a discounted price of 10% off.
