With several years in the English market now, TERA Online has proven to be a rather enjoyable MMORPG which has received continual updates from its development team over the years. But in what could be the biggest update for this game yet, and putting it among some of the biggest online games, publisher En Masse Entertainment have confirmed they will be bringing TERA to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this year.
Like the PC version, this home console edition of TERA Online will be completely free-to-play, and will offer the entirety of its MMORPG game world and what they are calling an “uncompromised conversion of the skill-based True Action Combat”. The game’s control scheme is currently “being redesigned and rebuilt from the ground up” for the console version, which they claim is to “ensure a responsive and visceral combat experience”.
Those looking to express interest in participating in a beta test can register via a new dedicated website.
TERA Online is developed by Bluehole, and published in North America by En Masse Entertainment. Outside of En Masse Entertainment supported regions, it isn’t yet fully clear whether their servers will be available on other regional PlayStation Stores and Xbox Live Marketplaces.
