[Video] The Confidants of Persona 5 – #10 Yuuki Mishima
The protagonists of Persona 3 and 4 were able to use the bonds formed with primary and secondary characters to boost the powers of their Persona’s during their creation – through a system known as “Social Links”. In Persona 5, this system has been replaced by characters known as “Confidants” – who will grant the protagonist special skill bonuses, useful services and more, the more he gets to know them. Although the Phantom Thieves may be able to hide their identities from the masses, the protagonists high school classmate Yuuki Mishima figures their identities out. Instead of handing them over to the authorities however, he offers his social media and web skills to create the "Phantom Thieves Aficionado Website". In addition to boosting their reputation, Mishima also unlocks buffs which increase the EXP earned from battle, and even allow backup members to eventually begin earning EXP. With Mishima on board, you might not have to worry about party members being many levels below your most frequently used characters.
