While there have been incidences of Tales video games receiving demos in Japan (Eg. Tales of Vesperia on the PlayStation 3), the same is not the case in western markets. In a change of pace for the developer/publisher, Bandai Namco Entertainment have confirmed that both the PlayStation Store (PlayStation 4) and Steam (PC) digital distribution services will be offering a demo edition of Tales of Berseria starting January 10th 2017.
This will give players a chance to sample the game a few weeks before it launches on both platforms starting January 27 2017.
To mark this occasion, Bandai Namco have also shared the above trailer, which provides a sneak peek at the game’s gameplay and English voice actors.
