Providing new information on the newest numbered chapter in the Tekken fighting franchise, Bandai Namco Entertainment have detailed two playable characters and a new online tournament mode which will be available to players when the game launches in Early-2017.
The first playable character is Kuma, the pet of Heihachi Mishima, who will be joining his master as a participant. He proves his unfailing loyalty by trying to protect the Mishima Zaibatsu while he was believing his master was dead. Defeated by Jin Kazama, he finally found Heihachi again and became one of the most essential member of the Tekken Force.

The second playable character detailed by Bandai Namco is Panda, Ling Xiaoyu’s pet and bodyguard. After the disappearance of Jin Kazama, Xiaoyu set out to find him, totally ignoring the dangers it involved. Worrying for his master as she never returned from her journey, Panda ran after her to bring her to her senses.
Tekken 7 will also be offering a new Online Tournament Mode, allowing players to participate in and create their own online tournaments supporting up to eight players. Setting out to offer “many features”, tournaments can be customised by elimination options, offers prizes of in-game content, and can be secured by both participant and spectator passwords.
Expect to hear more about Tekken 7 as the game heads towards in Early 2017 launch on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
