IFI Continue Their Look at the Storyline of MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death

Provided you don’t live in Australia or Germany, you will be able to nab yourself a copy of MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death on the PlayStation Vita (w/ PlayStation TV support) later this month. Hoping to highlight the game’s world, characters and lore – western market publisher Idea Factory International recently began a new ‘Story Trailer’ video series – which will provide a sneak peek at the region of “Southern Cross”.

Southern Cross is the main setting for MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death, and is a city which contains four ominous towers within its boundaries. Deep within these towers are mysterious entities – which Estra may be able to harness for their power. The second story trailer (above) provides a sneak peek into the towers – and what may lie within their halls.

Concluding their trailer series, Idea Factory International have also recently shared their third video (above).

Developed by Compile Heart, MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death will be available on September 13th in North America and September 16th in PAL Regions (Excluding banned regions).

First, the winds stopped. Then, birds vanished from the skies. Finally, the sun set…

And an eternal night fell upon the world. The reason was quickly identified. It was a story told of in legends. The world had ceased hundreds of years ago as well. But there was a legendary mage who had managed to restart it.

Thus, elders gathered capable young Machina Mages from around the world. They sent them to the legendary city: Machina City, Southern Cross. You must restart the world, and bring an end to this eternal night. That is your mission, and your destiny. Now, go forth on your journey. Go, Estra!
