Dragon Quest Builders to Come With Pre-Order Incentives

Not unusual for a game of its caliber on the market, Dragon Quest Builders is set to receive pre-order bonuses to complement the ‘Day One Editions’ which comes with its own incentives.

Those who nab themselves a ‘Day One Edition’ of Dragon Quest Builders will earn themselves a small collection of in-game recipies: Slimy Block Recipe, Springtide Sprinkles Recipe and Gold Block Recipe. However, depending on where you pre-order, other bonus goodies might be yours.

Those who pre-order through the PlayStation Store will receive:

  • An “exclusive” block-themed PlayStation 4 theme. This can be previewed both above and below.
  • A Retro Building Pack which contains four in-game recipes: 8-Bit Brick Recipe, Olde Worlde Wall Recipe, Retro Roof Recipe and Time-Honored Turf Recipe

These next two offers will likely vary between regions. Those who pre-order via Amazon.com in North America will secure themselves two items:

  • Knight Abhorrent & Knight Errant Battle Ticket / Mage Blueprint: Using this ticket triggers a battle against a Knight Abhorrent and Knight Errant which, when defeated, rewards players with a blueprint for a Mage statue.
  • Vis Mager & Dracky Battle Ticket / Warrior Blueprint: Using this ticket triggers a battle against a Vis Mager and Drackies which, when defeated, rewards players with a blueprint for a Warrior statue.

Alternatively, those who pre-order via GameStop (North America) or EB Games (Canada) will receive the following:

  • Green Dragon & Slime Battle Ticket / Hero Blueprint: Using this ticket triggers a battle against a Green Dragon and Slimes which, when defeated, rewards players with a blueprint for a Hero statue.
  • Tearwolf & Ghost Battle Ticket / Martial Artist Blueprint: Using this ticket triggers a battle against a Tearwolf and Ghosts which, when defeated, rewards players with a blueprint for a Martial Artist statue.

As usual, availability of retail pre-order bonuses may be while stocks last.

Dragon Quest Builders is currently being localised by Square Enix, and will be available in western markets on the PlayStation 4 (Physical/Digital) and PlayStation Vita (Digital) starting October 11th 2016.
