When sharing their updates for Patch 3.3 in Final Fantasy XIV, Square Enix mentioned they would be doing a collaboration event between themselves and Level-5’s media franchise Yo-Kai Watch. Although they haven’t shared a specific release date past “Summer 2016” (or Winter 2016 for those in the southern hemisphere), new specifics regarding to what gamers can look forward to have been shared.
This limited time event will feature 13 Yo-kai from the Yo-Ka watch, including Jibanyan and Whisper. There will also be a range of special quests on offer, which will provide special Yo-Kai Watch themed rewards should you complete them. These include themed weapons, mounts and minions.
But this isn’t just a one-way collaboration. Square Enix and Level-5 have also confirmed that Chocobo and Moogle will appear as “Chocobonyan” and “Mooglenyan” in both Yo-Kai Watch 3: Sushi and Yo-Kai Watch 3: Tempura in Japan. How they will be included (Eg. though a special time-limited event as well) has yet to be confirmed.
