While they have yet to announce any plans to offer the smartphone spin-off game Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ in PAL regions, Square Enix and Disney have this evening confirmed some solid figures for the title from the North American market. The first mobile game in the Kingdom Hearts series has now been downloaded more than two million times, just less than a month after launching. Will these numbers convince Square Enix to launch to a wider audience? Time will tell…

Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ sets out to shed light onto the events present in both Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and the anticipated RPG Kingdom Hearts III. Unlike all other Kingdom Hearts games, players are able to create their own Keyblade wielder, and then pave their own story through worlds based on a number of Disney franchises. Along the way, players can collect, fuse and evolve hundreds of medals that contain the power of Disney heroes and villains to customize the attack style of their Keyblades, partner with other players in guilds to take down heartless bosses and more.

Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ is now available for download in North America at no charge (although supported through a cash shop). Those in the right regions can now download themselves a copy via the iOS App Store or Android Google Play store.
