With the renown Pokemon media franchise celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2016, it wasn’t that big a surprise that Game Freak and The Pokemon Company would be working on their next installment for release this year. Back in February it was announced that Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will be the next duo of games in the works, headed to the Nintendo 3DS.
With the initial announcement came very little information. All we really came out knowing was the these games will support nine different languages (English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese) and will support the Pokemon Bank app.
The good news however is that we might not have to wait much longer for information. It was recently confirmed by director and composer Junichi Masuda, and the game’s official channels that more information will be revealed on May 10th at approximately 21:00 JST. What exactly this information will entail remains unknown.
