Imagine being the lone survivor of a horrific plane crash and waking up to find yourself in a mysterious place… A place called Escario, the city of swords!
Next month, Nippon Ichi Software America are set to release their annual Experience Inc. developed dungeon-crawling RPG – Stranger of Sword City. With a month to go until the game’s April 26 release date, the publisher have shared their official story trailer for the game. As usual, this can be found at the top of this post.
This trailer seeks to set the tone of the story, and also shares a glimpse at some of the creatures you will ultimately encounter (and hopefully survive the battle with) throughout your journey.
Your flight crashes after passing through a mysterious portal. As the sole survivor, you awaken to an unfamiliar land lit by stars you’ve never seen. This land is Escario, the city of swords. Quickly marked as the Chosen One, the Stranger of Sword City, you must defend this place and choose your allegiances carefully as you scour the land for a way home.
Developed by Experience Inc. and published by Nippon Ichi Software America in North America and PAL regions, Stranger of Sword City is set to be released exclusively on the PlayStation Vita starting April 26 2016.
