Serving as the first free flight event following the split of Squadron 42 and Persistent Universe modules last month, Cloud Imperium Games have confirmed that backers and non-backers alike can dive into Star Citizen and check out the current state of this ambitious game. This free flight event will be held for the next week, providing plenty of time for players to visit the Crusader “mini-PU”, test out their flight skills in the Arena Commander dogfighting module and check out the work-in-progress landing zone ArcCorp.
With many free flight events, Cloud Imperium Games limit the number of ships players have access to. Last time it was the Aurora LN, Mustang Delta Interceptor and Hornet F7C Military Fighter. For whatever reason, they have decided to ditch the ship selection progress, and provide everyone with access to every flyable ship. This means that while you might not be able to check out the Xi’An Scout, you will be able to fly around in some of the more expensive ships such as the Scythe.
Plan to sign up for Star Citizen and take your first steps in the Verse? Enlist using the referral code STAR-JCS6-3943 and you will earn yourself an extra 5,000 UEC to spend in the Voyager Direct store. As you might already expect with a referral system, I receive a few perks as well.
Grab the opportunity to get informed about it by yourself.
