The MISC Starfarer was a major milestone for Cloud Imperium Game’s PC-exclusive video game Star Citizen. This is in no small part because the refuel/transport vessel serves as the largest hangar-ready ship currently available by a significant margin. Coming in at 100 metres in length spaced out over multiple levels and a large cargo capacity of 3,321 – this is one hell of a ship! But the issue is, coming in at a new price of $300.00 USD, the Starfarer might be out of the budget of some players. Therefore, this milestone might only be enjoyable to a select few at this time.
During a special Subscribers version of Reverse the Verse earlier today, it was confirmed that the Starfarer will be available in all hangars (regardless of purchase price) for at least the next few days. Therefore, if you have been hoping to catch a glimpse at this monstrosity developed by the team at Foundary 42, this will be your best chance to do so. Only have access to the SelfLand or AeroView Hangar? You will also be temporarily granted access to the Revel & York Hangar. Upon loading the hangar, just head left until you reach the new (more metallic) section of it.
There is currently no word on when the MISC Starfarer will be flight-ready, although they have claimed it will only be when the refuelling system goes live. This may mean the ship will be confined to the hangar for several updates.
