Project X Zone 2 Launches in Australia and New Zealand

-

Follow their release of Project X Zone back in 2013, Bandai Namco Entertainment have released its successor – Project X Zone 2 –  on the Nintendo 3DS today in English.

For those unfamiliar with the series, it is a crossover franchise primarily developed by Monolith Soft. It sees characters from a range of titles developed/published by Bandai Namco, Sega and Capcom come together for a potentially world-saving journey. Some of the series depicted in Project X Zone 2 include .hack, Tekken, Tales of Vesperia, God Eater, Soul Calibur (Bandai Namco Entertainment), Devil May Cry, Street Fighter, Resident Evil (Capcom), Sakura Wars, Yakuza: Dead Souls and Virtua Fighter (Sega). In addition to these publishers, there are three guests from Nintendo series which are also playable: Chrom and Lucina from Fire Emblem Awakening and Fiora from Xenoblade Chronicles.

Hervé Hoerdt | Vice President of Marketing & Digital at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe

Doing a collaboration with publishers such as Sega and Capcom is a delight. On Project X Zone 2, we cooperated with the desire of giving the fans an opportunity to play their favourite characters among dozens of renowned franchises. And everyone will enjoy it thanks to the addition of subtitles in French, Italian, German and Spanish!

Project X Zone 2 can be purchased via select retail outlets, in addition to the digital Nintendo eShop.
