NIS America to Release Survival Horror Game Yomawari: Night Alone to International Markets in Late 2016

-

Featuring an aesthetic style somewhat similar to that of htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary, Nippon Ichi Software America have confirmed that the isometric survival horror game Yomawari: Night Alone (Developed by their parent company) will be localised into English and released on store shelves in both North America and PAL regions later this year.

In Yomawari: Night Alone, players take control of a young girl who is walking her dog Poro around town at dusk. However, a tragic accident leaves her returning home with only Poro’s leash in hand. The girl’s sister commands her to stay home while she goes out into the night to search for the dog. Time passes. Growing impatient, the girl decides to search for her missing sister and dog herself. But as this is a survival horror game… don’t expect things to stay normal for long. When the girl steps outside, she finds herself somewhere completely different. The darkness has made the town unfamiliar, and she appears to be utterly alone… save for the spirits that stalk her.

Equipped with only a flashlight, this girl must explore the depths of this town which is reminiscent of a Japanese horror, traversing through a run-down school, graveyards, a vacant factory and more. All the while, she must hide from, outsmart and/or outrun the hunting spirits while she searches for clues to find her loved ones.

Developed by Nippon Ichi Software exclusively for the PlayStation Vita, Yomawari: Night Alone will be available in late-2016.
