Providing a new crossover experience, Square Enix have released Final Fantasy Explorers on the Nintendo 3DS video game console in international markets starting today.
s, Final Fantasy Explorers presents players with a quest for the “Grand Crystal”. With 20 customisable jobs, 12 eidolons to battle and the ability to transform into a select number of iconic Final Fantasy characters, players are able to take their characters (either solo or partying alongside three other players) on a journey which seeks to mix characteristic elements of a typical Final Fantasy experience with modern battle mechanics.

Final Fantasy Explorers is set for release in Australia starting from tomorrow (28 January 2016), distributed by Bandai Namco Entertainment Australia.
Story Synopsis for Final Fantasy Explorers
The world is on the brink of war over its reserves of crystals, the planet’s chief source of power. Players must band together to form an elite squad of Explorers on an island rich in crystals, braving hordes of monsters in hopes of conquering a newly discovered Grand Crystal – every Explorer’s dream.
