Kicking off their promotion for Far Cry Primal in 2016, Ubisoft have shared two new trailers for the stone age action-adventure game. The first video is titled “King of the Stone Age”, which coming in at 1:49 minutes highlights the game’s world, its inhabitants and gameplay concepts. The second lengthier video is a behind the scenes video, highlighting how they have gone about building authentic characters and language.
Quite different from past Far Cry video games, Far Cry Primal is set in the majestic land of Oros. This world has been torn due to the confrontation of the three dominant tribes who seek the same single purpose: to conquer it. Takkar’s people, The Wenja tribe, is at risk. They are being attacked both by the cannibals of the Udam tribe, led by the cruel warrior Ull and the fire worshipers of the Izila tribe, led by the high priestess Batari. Immersed in the untamed world of Oros , a land full of dangers, Takkar will have to unite and protect the Wenja people from their dangerous enemies, the Udam and Izila peoples.
The launch of Far Cry Primal isn’t too far away, with the game to be available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One starting February 23rd. A PC release will follow on March 1st.
