Granting gamers a sneak peek into the multiplayer experience Naughty Dog will be providing them next year, the multiplayer beta for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has opened up to players. Access to this beta is generally limited to those who purchased a copy of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, which was published on the PlayStation 4 a couple of months ago by Sony Computer Entertainment.
Players are invited to head back into the jungle, search for valuable treasures and go up against anyone who stands in their way. This beta features a five-on-five deathmatch mode, which sees teams work together to take on the opposition as one of their favourite characters – including Nathan Drake, Elena, Sully and Cutter.
Adding another dimension to multiplayer, players can also use supernatural power-ups in battle, including “Djinn Mystical” power and “Cintamani Stone Mystical”. These can provide additional firepower or help support your party members through means such as reviving party members.
Not only do players have the chance to call on their teammates they can also call on new sidekicks. As the name suggests, sidekicks can help destroy the other team, including the Brute, the Savior, and the Marksman. Each have their own abilities and their effective use can potentially change the tide of battle.
The Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End multiplayer beta is currently being run until December 13 2015. The full game will be available on the PlayStation 4 starting March 18 2016.
