Gameplay and Cutscenes of Final Fantasy VII Remake Showcased in PlayStation Experience 2015 Trailer

-

After announcing their plans to offer a remake of Final Fantasy VII on the PlayStation 4 (Under the title Final Fantasy VII Remake) at E3 2015, Square Enix have attended the PlayStation Experience event with their first proper look at the game.

While I will let the trailer (above) do the talking, it is clear this will not just be a simple HD port. In addition to completely redone visuals and locales, complemented by a much better camera system than the one introduced in the 1997 original, this release will also come with a noticeably different battle system. The video also features full English voice-acting. Unlike Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster, this is shaping up to be a completely new experience rather than a simple remaster.

It is currently uncertain when Final Fantasy VII Remake will be available for purchase.

To complement this announcement, Square Enix have also confirmed that the original Final Fantasy VII is now available to purchase on the PlayStation 4.
