A couple of weeks ago, Microsoft’s Xbox team announced a ‘Drive to Win’ contest for their Xbox One exclusive release of Forza Motorsport 6. This would see ten gamers score a trip to the Super Cheap Auto Bathurst 1000 in New South Wales, Australia – and a chance to attend and participate in a live, in-game time trial to potentially be crowned the champion of the Mount Panorama Circuit.
Following tens of thousands of Forza Motorsport fans opting to try their hands at the challenge, they have chosen the preliminary winners of the event, which includes five Aussie players and four players from the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand.
In a new announcement, Xbox have confirmed that these winners will be joined by Top Gear’s ‘The Stig’, who will join the competition winners for the experience. The winner of this competition will walk away with $5,000 USD in prize money, an official driver suit from the race weekend, and the opportunity to have their Gamertag emblazoned on the official Xbox race car and the Bathurst raceway itself. The winner will also be treated to a lap of the circuit alongside Top Gear’s The Stig.
