Less Than Two Weeks Until EB Games Expo 2015 Kicks Off at Sydney Olympic Park

Now entering its fifth year (and fourth year at the Sydney Olympic Park), there are only two weeks to go until the annual EB Games Expo takes place in Sydney, Australia. Although EB Games have not yet decided to host individual events in different Australian states, they are once again setting out to bring gamer’s across Australia to the city for three days of everything gaming – from Friday October 2nd to Sunday October 4th. Unfortunately for the first time since 2012, this gamer will not be one of those attending during to a frantic schedule that weekend.

EB Games have recently confirmed a number of games which will be demo’ed, previewed and/or playable at the event. Some of the newest announced games including WWE 2K16, Tom Clancy’s The Division and Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft.

Putting focus onto the Hearthstone booth, they have mentioned that gamers will be shown how to play the game at the booth, and are then invited to either play against their friends or take on some of the best Hearthstone players in Sydney for a chance to win some Hearthstone merchandise. Cosplayers from Blizzard’s team brawler Heroes of the Storm will also be on hand for fan photos. For younger audiences and RPG fans alike, Yo-Kai Watch will also be featured at the event. It will be possible to play the game before release, and watch the exclusive first episode of the anime series.

Other titles playable prior to release include: Star Wars Battlefront, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, Halo 5: Guardians, Dark Souls 3, Battleborn, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, Just Cause 3, Streetfighter V, Need for Speed, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Rainbow Six Siege, Guitar Hero Live, Star Fox Zero, The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations and Dragon Quest Heroes.

Since the event is technically taking place during the holidays, EB Games will once again be holding their EB Expo Family Day on Sunday. This will offer a range of family-friendly entertainment and games including Just Dance 2016Disney Infinity 3.0LEGO Dimensions and Skylanders SuperChargers. Free ‘Frightful Fiesta’ Halloween Skylander figures will be given to the first fans to play Skylanders SuperChargers at the booth.
