Cloud Imperium Games have announced that all Star Citizen backers with access to Arena Commander’s Alpha Module are now able to enjoy access to the Kruger Intrgalactic P-52 Merlin for free for the next week. Unfortunately this free flight opportunity is nothing close to that of what was provided to Gamescom 2015 attendees (With a very non-unique claim code), who gained access to all flyable ships as part of a free flight week.
The P-52 Merlin is described as a 1-person “Snub Flighter” ship, and can be purchased standalone only for $20.00 USD (w/ SelfLand Hangar access and 3 Month Insurance). Instead of many other ships currently announced for Star Citizen, this one is designed to be transported from Point A to Point B via another larger ship such as the Constellation Andromeda or Constellation Aquila (Both of which currently come with a P-52 Merlin included).
