Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe have announced they have formed an agreement with development studio The Farm 51 to publish their multiplatform psychological thriller title Get Even.
Get Even is the described as a “psychological thriller movie genre made video game”, which seeks to blur lines and blend the frantic tension of the FPS genre with the oppressive intimacy of a complex personal investigation. They claim that they will be avoiding the “usual clichés and gung-ho scenarios currently inhabiting the FPS genre”, instead planning to deliver an “alternative, mature and intriguing story combined with strong shooter elements”. Time will tell if this goal is achieved.
Get Even is set for release on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gaming platforms at an unspecified date in 2016.
