[E3 2015] Mario & Sonic at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games – Screenshots, Trailer

-

They have already battled it out during both the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and 2012 London Olympic Games, but the characters from both Super Mario Bros. and Sonic the Hedgehog franchises are once again set to determine who is best at sport in Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

Featuring a range of characters from both franchises (and presumably your Mii’s as well), you will be able to determine who is best in traditional Olympic events, in addition to Soccer, Rugby and Beach Volleyball. Rugby in particular is one of the more notable inclusions, given the 2016 Olympic Games will make the first appearance of Rugby since 1924.

Developed by SEGA, this sports game will once again support 1-4 players and shall be available for purchase sometime in 2016.
