Following various other iOS and Android ports in recent months/years, Square Enix have today announced that their classic RPG, Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation, is now available for purchase on select iOS and Android devices. Serving as the final chapter in Dragon Quest’s Zenithian Trilogy, this game was originally developed and published on the Super Famicom in 1995 – receiving a subsequent Nintendo DS release in 2010.
Similar to earlier ports, this smartphone/tablet edition comes with a few new features to make use easier. Features introduced in Dragon Quest VI include: touchscreen controls suited to one and two-handed play on vertical mobile screens and the ability to Quick Save.
DRAGON QUEST VI: Realms of Revelation is the final chapter of the Zenithian trilogy, concluding in an expansive quest of a young Hero who sets out to learn the truth about his world and the mysterious phantom realm that lies beneath. Journeying across a vast and dangerous land, players must confront the Hero’s destiny and recover his long-lost memories in order to unite and save the two worlds.
