Delivering a video game experience which is not related to the Hyperdimension Neptunia universe for the first time in quite a while, Idea Factory International have confirmed that Omega Quintet is set to hit store shelves / the digital PlayStation Store on April 28th 2015 in North America. This will be complemented by a PAL region release which will be initially available through retail channels (May 1st), followed by a digital edition several days later (May 6th).
In addition to this announcement, the publisher also shared two new trailers. The first one (above) provides a look at the game’s battle system, while the second (below) is a “teaser” look at the entire game.
Also available is a handful of screenshots which show off the PVS (Promotional Video System) mode. In this mode, you choreograph your own Verse Maiden performance, choosing the song, the performers, the solos, and dance moves – culminating in a full performance. It is possible to then watch it and share it was friends through the PlayStation 4’s share capabilities. *Images will be added shortly.
Developed by Compile Heart, Omega Quintet will serve as Idea Factory International’s very first release on the PlayStation 4 – previously putting their attention towards the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PC platforms.
