NIS America to Host Danganronpa Murder Mystery at Anime Conji 2015

In collaboration with the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation (SPJA for short), Nippon Ichi Software America have confirmed they will be holding a special Danganronpa Murder Mystery at Anime Conji 2015 next month. To be held on April 4th 2015, this event seeks to mirror the themes of their two 2014 visual novel releases (Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair), leaving players to search for clues at the Sheraton Hotel in San Diego and use them to determine which cosplayer is the “blackened”.

The event is set to start on April 4th 2015 at 10AM with an introduction video, and will conclude at 6PM on the same day with a class trial. Participants will locate truth bullets throughout the convention center and record the clues provided on the bullets by writing or taking a photo. After collecting these clues, they will turn them in and receive a special gift, allowing them to participate in the class trial.

Should this be a success, it is possible that additional events will be held during future conventions. For more information, including details on some of the cosplayers posing as the characters, click HERE.
