Following their release of The Sims 4 last year on the PC, Electronic Arts and Maxis have confirmed that those who exclusively game on a Mac computer will be able to enjoy the game from today. This now means that anyone who purchases a copy of The Sims 4 on PC via disc or digital download (Origin) formats previously or in the future will also gain a digital Mac version at no extra charge. The same can be said for any add-on content or expansions purchased – unless they decide to eventually offer Mac exclusive editions in the near future.
It is also possible for in-progress games to be transferred from the PC to Mac. For information on how to achieve this, EA recommends reading their Mac FAQ/guide HERE.
