With their Open Beta testing for Battlefield Hardline coming to an end, Electronic Arts and Visceral Games have confirmed that they had approximately six million gamers take part during the week-long testing period between February 3rd 2015 and February 9th 2015. This number consists of players across all five Battlefield Hardline supported platforms: PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
The development team have expressed their thanks for all the feedback and responses they received for those who took part. Hopefully this will aid them in delivering a satisfying product when Battlefield Hardline is released on all five consoles from March 19th (Australia) – March 20th (New Zealand).
No additional testing periods have been confirmed for between now and launch next month.
