As is the case with many video games released by Bandai Namco, the publisher is providing those who pre-order Dragon Ball Xenoverse with a compilation of extra goodies which they won’t be offering again. These include:
- A Shenron Black Metalcase in lieu of simply receiving a Blu-ray box.
- Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta as playable character DLC
- Two exclusive Frieza Soldier’s Battle Suites which can be used to customize your player avatar.
In addition to the pre-order bonuses, console players will also have an opportunity to nab themselves a limited Collector’s Edition. Dubbed the “Trunks’ Travel Edition“, this collection contains a copy of Dragon Ball Xenoverse and a whopping 25cm figure of Trunks Master Stars Piece. A closer look at the figure can be found in the above trailer.
Developed by Japanese studio DIMPS (Who also worked on the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai games) and published by Bandai Namco, Dragon Ball Xenoverse is set for release on current and last generation PlayStation / Xbox consoles in addition to Steam (PC). Irrespective of what edition you buy, Dragon Ball Xenoverse will be available on consoles starting February 12th 2015 and Steam five days later on February 17th.
