When it was first announced a couple of years back, DRIVECLUB was unique in that it would have two full editions for the game released for it. The first was the main retail release which contained every car and track produced for the game. The second was a free PlayStation Plus edition that would contain the full game however be limited in the selection of cars and tracks available to gamers. Both editions have technically launched, however the PlayStation Plus edition and MY DRIVECLUB app are now being held back, with server capacity being cited as justification.

There is no update on when the PlayStation Plus edition will be available once again, but Evolution Studios have acknowledged they are working towards rectifying this issue as soon as possible. Check out the official statement made by “Rushy” from the DRIVECLUB development team HERE.
