Neko Entertainment have this evening announced that their liquid-physics based platformer Puddle is now available for purchase on the PlayStation 4 in Europe. Available exclusively through the PlayStation Store, this digital-exclusive collection comes as part of a PlayStation Vita cross-buy set for 6.99€ or equivalent.
To celebrate the new launch of puddle, Neko Entertainment will be progressively dropping the price of the Wii U / PC / Mac / Linux edition down to 6.99€ and 2.69€ on both iOS and Android platforms. A North American release is planned for the 1st July 2014 at $7.99 USD.
Below is a bit of information provided by the publisher. A full review of the game will be released following my exam block.
Started as a student project, finalist at IGF, Puddle has made a long way up to PlayStation 4. For those who may not know it, Puddle is a liquid-physics based platformer, in which you have to reach the end of a level with the greatest amount of liquid and as fast as possible.
Puddle features 49 re-mastered levels, for a better experience, in a wide range of environments. You can now also enjoy two difficulty modes to play Puddle even if you’re not a hardcore player. With the PlayStation 4 controller, you can either play with the triggers, the accelerometer or the touchpad! Don’t forget to keep an eye on the light bar color, it will change as you progress through the different worlds of Puddle.
