Like quite a few of the games published in North America by ATLUS USA, PAL-region gamers such as myself have spent months waiting for our opportunity to get our hands on Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl which launched during early-October 2013 through the US and Canada. Fortunately the wait is now almost over with its May 2nd, 2014 release date is only half a month away.

However in some exciting news for those who have the Good Friday long weekend off, publisher Nippon Ichi Software America have just confirmed that a demo for the game is now available via the Nintendo eShop. This will provide the start of the game where you begin exploring the dungeons, with save data transferable to the final release when you pick it up next month.

Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl is a reimagined re-release of the initial Etrian Odyssey game which first hit the market in 2007 on the Nintendo DS. While containing the original “classic” mode which allows you to create a custom party and explore the dungeons to your hearts content, Etrian Odyssey Untold also features a new story mode, complete with cinematics from the animation studio Madhouse and 3,000 recorded lines of English dialogue.

Check out my review of the game when it launches next month exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS.
