Independent video game developer ACE Team (of Rock of Ages acclaim) are once again working with US-based publisher ATLUS USA in getting their new title, Abyss Odyssey, out to market. According to the team at ATLUS: “an integral part of ACE Team’s one-of-a-kind games is the hauntingly baroque orchestrations that compliment them“, and it doesn’t seem like they will be ending that tradition here.
The duo have this morning shared a new trailer for the game which highlights the production of Abyss Odyssey’s main theme which sees a violinist and cellist compliment bass, drums and guitar with ethereal vocals. Must admit, I am personally very picky about opening / ending / theme songs, and this hit all the right notes for me. Let’s hope they retain this level of music throughout the entire game.
