Nintendo Australia have today confirmed that they will be attending all five of the Oz Comic-Con events to take part across Australia during 2014, the most recent being shows in Perth (29th – 30th March 2014) and Adelaide (5th – 6th April 2014). The goal is to provide those attending with the opportunities to play some of their more anticipated and promising titles on both 3DS and Wii U consoles throughout the weekend-long events.
While subject to change for events later on in the year, they currently have plans to offer demo playthroughs of Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U while 3DS-gamers will be able to tee-off in Mario Golf: World Tour and test out Kirby’s new Hypernova ability in Kirby: Triple Deluxe among many other titles.
As with any other convention, they are highly encouraging everyone to bring along their 3DS consoles to StreetPass and enjoy some of the multiplayer gaming opportunities on offer.
