The latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation in Japan has confirmed that Tomoka Minato from the “loli basketball” light novel (et al.) series by Sagu Aoyama / Tinkle, Ro-Kyu-Bu! will appear as a playable character in upcoming arcade fighter Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax. She will join other familiar faces such as Asuna (Sword Art Online), Shana (Shakugan no Shana) and Shizuo Heiwajima (DuRaRaRa!!) to name a few as playable characters.
The same issue also confirmed a number of supporting characters including Hinata Hakamada (Also from Ro-Kyu-Bu!), Kaga Koko (Golden Time), Kino (Kino’s Journey), Mashiro Shiina (The Pet Girl of Sakurasou) and Erio Towa (Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko).
Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax is currently in development by SEGA for release later this year in arcades. While they have not ruled out a console port, there is no currently no plans for any ports of this 2D fighter to current or last generation consoles.
