Electronic Arts and PopCap have had to announce a brief delay for their upcoming release of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, setting its retail release back until the 27th February 2014.
This new third-person shooter in the series features 24-player multiplayer 12 vs 12 action and four-player online co-op, with the Xbox One edition exclusively featuring SmartGlass / Kinect functionality and split screen offline co-op.
While I do wonder how much benefit they would get out of releasing a new installment in this more casual video game franchise on a brand new console so soon (Considering that they would reach a much greater target audience with pre-existing consoles alone), Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is set for release on the Xbox One, Xbox360 and PC video game platforms. Currently there are no announced PlayStation or Nintendo console releases
